The Grand Lodge has the authority, upon proposal by the Board, to enter into treaties of friendship and mutual recognition with foreign Grand Lodges. These agreements may include provisions that establish the right of reciprocal visits between the Maltese, Italian, and foreign Grand Lodges, in full compliance with the terms and conditions mutually agreed upon, thereby strengthening the fraternal bonds between the various obediences.
